SoftImprove understands the importance of developing key soft skills to stand out in the job market. That is why SoftImprove launched the SoftImprove Academy, to create actionable learning strategies and help employed and unemployed professionals improve their skills in areas such as Time Management, Creativity, Conflict Resolution, Leadership, and more.
The SoftImprove Academy Breakdown
The SoftImprove Academy houses lessons on various soft skills that are an absolute necessity in today’s workforce. The SoftImprove Academy is broken down into three different areas of development: Personal Skills, Social Skills, and Methodological Skills. From there, each area has modules on varying topics.
Personal Skills
The Personal Skills course includes the following modules:
Time Management
This module will help professionals learn to plan, prioritize, and control their time to increase productivity and efficiency.
Adaptability, Resilience and Flexibility
This module focuses on giving users the tools to navigate the uncertainties and challenges of professional and personal life.
Self-motivation
This module will encourage the user to be proactive in achieving goals and persevering through struggles
Creativity
This module will prioritize understanding what creativity is and its power in the workplace, while also helping the user to strengthen their own creativity.
Social Skills
The Social Skills course includes the following modules:
Empathy and Emotional Awareness
This module highlights that emotions are tools and will help the user learn to understand and skillfully work with their emotions in personal and professional environments.
Conflict Resolution
This module helps professionals gain the essential skills of handling disagreements effectively and constructively.
Teamwork
This module focuses on developing skills of effective communication, respect, and collaboration in order to achieve common goals.
Communication
This module teaches users how to express themselves clearly and effectively through theories and personal and professional applications.
Methodological Skills
The Methodological Skills course includes the following modules:
System Thinking
This module will equip professionals with the resources and skills to understand dynamic environments and professional systems.
Leadership
This module encompasses multiple skills including emotional intelligence, effective communication, and strategic thinking helping shape users into effective leaders who can lead teams with empathy and resilience.
Project Management & Personal Organization
This module focuses on planning and efficiency within constraints such as time, budget, and other resources.
Problem Solving
This module helps users identify solutions and analysis skills to help solve problems effectively.
SoftImprove Academy Layout
After logging into the SoftImprove Academy, the user is taken to the Home page where they can view all of the available modules and what they have to offer.
The Dashboard page offers a calendar where users can input tasks and reminders for themselves. Additionally, the platform shows the SoftImprove materials that the user recently accessed.
The My Courses page is where users can see each of the modules they are enrolled in and can access their progress within each module.
Within each module, there are material translations in Spanish, German, and French, a document of theoretical contents, and various presentations on the topic that the user is studying. Lastly, after the studying the documents and presentations, there is a ‘Final Test’ that users will take. Upon achieving the required minimum score, a certificate will be available to the user.
