Multiplier Event - Barcelona (January 2025)

As part of the project, the SoftImprove partners held a Multiplier Event in their city of origin. The Multiplier event "Soft Improve Presentation" took place on January 14, 2025 at the Open University of Catalonia Hub in Barcelona, ​​and was organized by Immersium Studio. In this event, they presented the project and had the pleasure of hearing from various experts in soft skills, such as:

  • Irene Ríos, Coordinator of Services and Orientation programs at Barcelona Activa (a public trading company integrated in the area of Economy and Economic Promotion of Barcelona City Council)

  • Carlos González, Professor at the Faculty of Economics of Open University of Catalonia (UOC)

  • Mari Martínez, Psychologist and coach, expert in emotional well-being, neuropsychology and management development at Kalidoscopia (a Cooperative organization specialized in well-being).

  • Blanca Gordo, expert en Professional Competencies and Social Skills at Blank Space 

  • Luis Villarejo, expert in the application of new technologies such as Virtual Reality to the development of soft skills and CEO of Immersium Studio

  • Núria Benet, Director of Actor Production and Coordinator of Soft Improve at Immersium Studio.


The event featured a presentation of the Soft Improve Project, by Blanca Gordo, as well as interactive sessions, by Nuria Benet, including a role-playing activity in which several of the attendees participated.



Next, Irene Ríos explained the importance of soft skills in professional development and the group exchanged opinions in a round table with Carlos González, Mari Martínez, Blanca Gordo, Luis Villarejo and Nuria Benet.



Finally, they did an interactive test using a Kahoot, which is an online tool where several users can answer questions at the same time. They finished the event with an awards ceremony for the most adept in soft skills.
